The Creek Street district was very cute and we saw more salmon than we could count and seals gorging themselves! The totem museum was very cool.

Did excursion of the town. Ketchikan is a bit more commercial but we enjoyed the Totem Village and walking around town. Stopped for beer at dive bar Arctic right near ship.

Cutest town we stopped at. Took a zodiac boat tour which was amazing. Saw a whale breach in front of us.

The Lumberjack show was outstanding. Went to Totem Bight Park. Awesome tour. Our guide was exceptional.

Did a little shopping. Pretty little fishing town. Took the Alaskan Bear Encounter by Boat and Hike. We highly recommend this. Saw three bear. One was about 50 ft. Away from this viewing platforms. It’s a 20 min drive through Ketchikan by bus, then an hour boat ride on a brand new boat to a salmon hatchery and a 15 minute hike through a rainforest to the bear platforms where you stay for an hour.

These are all tourist towns. Sitka and Skagway were small and quaint. Ketchikan was the biggest. Ketchikan we learned has usually rainy weather, we were told by our guide that we brought the good weather with us! I went to what they called "the largest totem pole outdoor museum in the world". It was cool, but I wasn't as awed as thought I would be. Also, all that talk about wearing layers was bunk. Ketchikan was just sunny and nice.

Great stop, too many ships in port, crowded.

Loved the town. Did the lumberjack show. While enjoyable, wouldn’t do it again. Confused on where to meet for shuttle, or Princess tour guide as they didn’t show up on time. Ended up walking. I would have given myself more time perusing the town if I had to do it again.
