We enjoyed walking around the small town. The tourist area is well maintained, but the outskirts of town were rather rundown. It left me with a sad feeling for the residents who are there year round.

Normally known to be one of the rainiest cities in Alaska and USA, this day was spectacular. We went to the Hump Island Oyster Farm. Great and different experience.

We spent the day walking around and exploring the town. Of course, it is set in spectacular landscape and it was beautiful to just be there.

Ketchikan is the southernmost port in Alaska. We walk the streets and did some sightseeing.

More of a small town atmosphere with some interesting places to see and visit.

Weather was good. Not much old stuff left, but a nice stop

Only a 4 hour stop, not enough time to do it right

Lumberjack show was entertaining.

I liked this port - easy walking distance to the historic Creek Street area with cute shops and an interesting, um, house of ill-repute. :-)

Did a duck city/harbor tour and lumberjack show which was pretty cool
