We did the whale watching trip, which was great (lots of whales). However, there is very little to do at the port. And we had a lot of extra time after our excursion, but didn't have a lot to do there.

some of the excursions were not as advertised. Did the wilderness tram ride and saw almost nothing. The gondolas to reach the starting point were great

We spent way too long at this port, where there was little to do. this time could have been better spent at Juneau or Ketchikan.

We did the gondola and a whale watching excursions - both we good

Beautiful and small port. We walked along the beach and had fresh crab legs. We saw a pod of humpback whales right when we docked while on the verandah. It was a very special and memorable experience.

Moderate. Rainy, night time prevented gondola use. Interesting information on fish canning. No excursion other than personal walks.
