Went for a bear hunt (with cameras), a little over priced but still a wonderful day.

Commercialized. The gondola was a nice free ride up to the store. Nothing made local, even had Costco Kirkland water to sell.

Limited amount of time in port so we explored the local shops, salmon cannery museum, and took the Transporter to the top of the mountain for scenic views.

Great fried halibut fish tacos. Didn't make it to town, but rode the Skyglider

Loved this port! Definitely take the time to go into Hoonah - which on a good day, the locals call Hoonah-Lulu!

We booked a whale watching excursion through Delta and it was the highlight of our trip. Our captain and Naturalist were fantastic and enjoyed it as much as the passengers.

We did a Whale and Marine Mammal tour for 2 1/2 hrs. This was a subservient time frame and we saw Orcas with babies, humpbacks, harbor seal, sea otters and quite a few whale tails. This tour allow us to fully see Hoonah/Icy Straits. Nice shops and history.

It was beautiful. One of the ladies from there talked to us and gave us a brief history.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful landscape. We didn’t take an excursion at this stop. Not a whole lot to do other than the cannery museum and the restaurant. Really good 🦀 legs.

We did a whale watching tour offered by Viator that was great. Also had great food at the BBQ place near port.
