Haines is VERY small. We did not take the ferry to Skagway where supposedly more exists.

Book a shore excursion. The town is quaint, but small and you can pretty much see everything in a couple of hours.

Haines is 45 min crowded ferry ride each way to Skagway making for a rather long day
