Stunning views. Don’t believe everyone who says to go to the observation lounge. You can stay in your room if you have a balcony and then listen to ship channel 2 to follow along with the park ranger commentary. Deck 8 lets you go on the bow which is usually not for passengers and that was a better place to watch from. Observation lounge is bad because the windows reflect all the lamps so pics are bad and views are obscured.

we were lucky to have amazing weather. spectacular. if you want to see it from the most desirable area in the observation lounge you need a scout to sleep there the night before!

Our second day at sea consisted of the entire day at Glacier Bay. Mother Nature made it perfectly clear that we truly had not seen anything yet! We were treated with one surprise after another, starting with a brown bear sighting along the shoreline during our transit. Once at Glacier Bay, Mother Nature sort of went on a bragging tour displaying all her beauty! After leaving Glacier Bay, we were further treated by Sea lions lounging on small islands and even playing in the water alongside our ship.

One of our favorite things. We had a beautiful day and spent the morning looking out on the outer deck on Deck Eight. I think it's called the Waterway. A lovely place to be.

Stunning, beautiful, once in a lifetime and every other way you've heard it described! National Park Rangers boarded the ship and spent the day telling us about the different glaciers and Alaskan animals/facts. NCL opened the forward part of the ship so people could go out and view glaciers. I found we were better off seeing it from our balcony, but it was cool to go to that part of the ship regardless. If you have a National Park Passport, make sure you bring it along and get a stamp!
