Highlight of the cruise. Amazing views of many glaciers, and so quiet you can hear ice cracking and running streams on the hillsides. Spent the majority of the time on our veranda, with the door cracked so we could hear the Park Ranger narration broadcast on the room TV. So great!

Beautiful glaciers! We got lots of footage of them caving! Neat experience! We just enjoyed the view from our balcony! Although you don’t get off the boat, it’s a photographers paradise for a few hours!

We missed our on the informational talk on the main deck, but don't regret it. We went as high up on the Legend as we could go. It was breath taking! No competition to be "on the railing". We were the only ones on that deck, with the birds flying within inches! Cant wait to sail Glacier Bay! Again...

Seeing it in person is nothing like seeing it in a book. You have to experience it! The crisp air is bitter cold and the view is stunning to say the least!

Got nice and close to Margerie Glacier. Fog lifted as we got further up the fjord. Very calm and relaxing day at sea. The ship turned so both sides faced the glacier, which was a nice treat.

Glacier Bay is simply not to be missed. The only thing is that when we went on our trip, there were a lot of forest fires in the area and that created a lot of Haze and obscured our view. But other than that it was breathtaking.

Have camera ready! The views are awesome! Part of glacier broke apart during our cruise so also good to have video ready as it was an amazing view to witness.

We were at sea but when we approached the glaciers, the ship slowed down to a crawl and turned so all passengers could see them. We & some other passengers found their way to the bow, which was opened during this time, and it was had to express the feeling of seeing these magnificent & beautiful glaciers & tall mountains. We also saw some sea otters laying on the icebergs in the water.

BEAUTIFUL! The water is amazing as you cruise in. Our Captain is a fan of the bears, and when a trio was spotted, he brought the ship almost to a standstill so we could observe them. We had a Forest Service representative as well as native Alaskan, they were both very informative. The glaciers were breathtaking. We observed them from the bow of the ship, where we were served hot split pea soup. What an experience.

This was the highlight of the cruise. Marjorie Glacier was spectacular, almost unreal. We had the chance to see several ice falls and hear the thunderous sound of it hitting the water. The national park ranger narration was very interesting. We choose to spend part of the day watching the glacier from our balcony, so it was difficult to hear the narration in our cabin. We turned on our TV, but had to listen to bad, loud muzak during narration breaks (which meant a constant race to the mute button on the remote control). Oh well! Such annoyances were worth it that day.
