One of the coolest things I've ever seen! The absolute BEST part of the cruise. Definitely worth getting up really early and freezing!

We were not able to get to the glacier area. Sadly, this has been very common lately, because of the warm weather a month ago(90 degrees F) there is a lot of ice that has broken off, so ships haven't been able to get too close.

Unable to get close to the glacier due to ice floating in the water & the captain said it was too dangerous.

Absolutely stunning to go up toward the Dawes Glacier. We had to turn around before we got too close, due to a lot of icebergs in the water, but it was one of the most incredible things I've seen.

Wish we could have gotten closer to the glacier but understandable why we could not. No excursions.
