CRUISE ENDICOTT ARM & DAWES GLACIER Port Reviews

This was a favorite. We got to see the Dawes glacier in the morning. The ship did several 360 degree turns so that everyone aboard could view the glacier. I do wish we had booked the excursion that took us right up to the glacier, but we still had an excellent view from the boat. I do wish it had been a little later in the morning, as we pulled up to it at approximately 630 AM, which is far to early to be getting up on vacation!

It was beautiful, but not what I expected.

We woke up early to view all the splendor. Ordered room service and ate in our infinite verandah so we wouldn’t miss any of the scenery! Weather and views were breathtaking!

missed it when not up in time

We were fortunate to get very near the glacier...closest the ship has been this year. What a beautiful sight!

I gave a 4 star because our Dawes Glacier Excursion was cancelled. There was a medical emergency on board (July 26 to August 2 sail). We were able to sail through Endicott Arm but it was a quicker than originally planned. They said there wouldn’t be time for the excursion. We were pretty disappointed but at least we were able to sail through, which was very beautiful!

Captain turned the boat around, this was supposed to be the highlight of the trip.
