good cruise
The ship and crew were very good service and the ship was clean a little bit dated but expected. The buffet and the four speciality restaurants were excellent but in the main restaurant, the food was inedible when it was hot and worse when it came cold which was all the time. The staff were excellent and tried to cover for the way it was presented but it was the same every night. We went to the chap in charge and informed him of this and he said that he would get back in touch after they spoke to the kitchens and we are still waiting so we went to the buffet restaurant as did a lot of others. We did enjoy the cruise and the ship and as I said it was only the main dining room where there were any problems

Alaska bucket list cruise outdid all expectations
as always solstice exceeded every possible thing you could want
Found the cruise not busy even though it was full and didnt have to wait in line for anything eg restaurants coffee getting on and off just goes to show you the professionalism of the whole crew

too late berthing on last night
Did the Mendenhall glacier excursion was good the guide was very funny and knowledgeable
white horse pass railway is something everyone should do

Dont be frightened to ask for more than one selection when dining as they have a tendency to put the good meals on the same menu for example they have lobster and duck and beef wellington on the last chic night I had two lobster and the duck both great
