We had a great warm weather cruise and escape from the winter.

Classic cruising and great itineraries
The ship is in fine shape. The crew are working hard and friendly. The ship was very clean and good hygiene habits were strongly encouraged. There wasn't a ton of activities but this is a port intensive cruise.
We got to see some amazing bucket list places. Unfortunately, my husband came down with covid while on the ship but it may have been from the plane.

Cruise tips
Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic
I enjoyed the port area including the lazy river. Hubby did a non ship dune buggy excursion which he enjoyed.
We did a private excursion which we enjoyed. Maho Beach was hubby's favorite part of the day.
Celebrity Apex
Great ship, service and food. If you are looking for a kid friendly ship, this isn't it.
Enjoyed self-exploring. Wish we could have arrived earlier in the day.
We did a ship excursion here- Drake's Seat, Magen's Bay, and Skyride. It was a very good excursion. Loved visiting St. Thomas. Would love to visit St. John on another visit if we have a longer day.
