Great Spring Break Cruise
Eurodam
Sail date: March 15, 2015
Our family just returned from the March 15 - 22 sailing on Holland America Eurodam (Eastern Caribbean) and we had a wonderful time. The staff was friendly and courteous, especially the dining and stateroom staff. They knew all of our names and engaged us in conversation daily. The food was wonderful and options on dining we good. The ship was one of the older ones in the fleet, however it was well maintained and very comfortable, all amenities were top notch. The ports (Grand Turk, Puerto Rico, St Thomas and the Bahamas) offered many excursion opportunities that our family enjoyed. The only knock I could give the cruise was the entertainment. Two of the 7 nights were the ships singer and dancers, while although good, was somewhat repetitive. The other entertainers, especially Recycled Percussion was very entertaining. In summary, the value and quality of the cruise was what we expected and we would sail on a Holland America cruise in the future.
Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)
Nice transfer to the island. Island BBQ was good.
Very nice area to expolore, easy access to leave and return to the ship.
Nice and several options to shop and eat.
Great scenary, many options on shopping, eating and activities.
Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida
Easy to get in and out.
