Cruise tips
Last stop of our cruise 🚢. Great spot ! We started with the zip line tour through the ship and loved it. Highly recommend. Try the oysters while over at island zip lining We didn’t leave Auckland till 10pm so went back onboard and freshened up before heading into Auckland. Went to sky needle at casino which was great cost $29 per person but had great views Did a bit of shopping on queen street and then had dinner and local restaurant next to where the ship was docked Make sure you grab a map as it’s a big city but still pretty easy to navigate 👍
Nice enough place. Easy to walk around but not much to do. Bit of shopping or you could have a swim. Would do a tour if I ever went back but nice enough to wander around at your own pace
Beautiful little city Didn’t have a lot of time as ship sailed at 2pm. Bused up to aquarium and highly recommend this place went for a walk around shops and water side. Bus service works really well and all places are close. Locals dress up and really very welcoming
Another great stop. Was not the windy Wellington I expect as it was a really nice day. Did the cable car up to botanical gardens and walked out way back down. Had a look at beehive Parliament House and down along waterfront checked out markets and museum. Didn’t do any ship tours City was easy to navigate and lots of friendly tourist helpers
Lovely spot. Tender service worked well but we didn’t try and rush to be 1st off. Had a good walk around the waters edge and had a beer or 2 and some lunch. Nice slow relaxed pace easy to do your own thing
Port Chalmers (Dunedin), New Zealand
Really nice quiet spot and a great 1st stop. Had a great feed of fish n chips right near the ship 🚢. Got the bus into Dunedin and enjoy a bit of shopping and walking around. Didn’t do any shore tours as it was easy to navigate around
Cruise Fjordland National Park
Amazing place Took some great shots from our balcony room. We got really lucky with the weather and recommend getting up early to see this beautiful area of New Zealand 🇳🇿
