Absolutely fantastic ! So much history and culture to see and enjoy! We did the excursion thru cruises only it was great and our guide Ilya was passionate about talking about the history of Russia and of the paintings we saw Not enough time to do any shopping

It rained so really could not do too much - rock church was worth visiting . Used hop on hop off bus - felt it was a bit slow
