Has anyone taken a Transatlantic Cruise and worked "remotely" from the ship? Looking at a 2 week cruise with several days at sea. Understanding that we would need the premium package for wifi but need to know if it actually works while crossing the ocean from Europe to the states. Thanks in advance!

And to add insult to injury, Carnival has increased their WiFi rates significantly using the upgrade to StarLink as justification. Only problem is, they haven't implemented StarLink on all their ships yet, so customers have been / are / or will be paying for upgraded service on ships that haven't been upgraded yet.
As to the OP's question of how reliable service is on a transatlantic cruise, I think it would depend upon the cruise line and more specifically, which ship. Transatlantic repositioning cruises are happening now for the summer season in Europe, so maybe someone with recent experience can give some feedback.

Been reading about STARLINK...cant seem to get that working either....

Speed and connectivity will vary depending on the cruise line. Also it will depend on the seas. It is harder to maintain satellite communications if in rough seas.

Personally, I've never seen WI-FI work well on any ship, even close to land. I hope you get an answer from someome who has tried it during a crossing. Whishing you the best.
