Who is John Herd??? Read he is coming to Galveston to ride Vista. I read he is head cruise director, but he seems to me the "Sarah Sanders" of the Carnival Corp. Big deal if he comes to Galveston. Been on 18 cruises without seeing him, probably going 18 more of the same.

He will be on my slow cruise to Mexico next week.. Apparently it is a big deal if he is on your cruise..He is the go to guy if you want to try to get something special sent to your room or to a friend or family members room. I've asked if it wold be possible to send something to my step mom, as she is retiring the Friday before we leave. Not sure if it will happen, but it can't hurt to ask, nicely.

He's kind of a big deal with Carnival and if you get to go on a cruise with him, he gives away a ton of stuff. Plus he's pretty funny. He has a Facebook page if you want to know him more.

I'm not sure what his current title is, but he used to be the head of the Activities Department for all of the Carnival ships.

His correct name is John Heald. He used to be a cruise director on Carnival ships. Now he is what they call the Brand Ambassador. He has a Facebook page and answers people's questions and is more or less the go between between the higher ups at Carnival and the passengers.
