Which river cruise line is your favorite?

Posted this on our socials so I figured I'd post here too. For those who have taken more than one river cruise, of these four choices in particular, which is your favorite? Or if you've only taken one, why did you choose it?

So much is included in the price though. Shore excursions every day, wine and beer with meals, WiFi, specialty coffees, bottled water and more. Often there are specials that even include free air. There are great deals out there and we’ve found it’s a fantastic value for what you get!

Even the US one is costly, from our perspective. But we wanted to do something big for our 50th and this fit. We have been saving specifically for this occasion. The air fare will be a lot less.Wink

Researched and viewed a few videos of river cruises but the cost??

We’ve been on 16 river cruises so far, 15 of them across these 4 cruise lines. Absolutely wonderful way to travel!

No one favorite line, but lots of different favorite things. Best staterooms, Avalon Waterways. Best service, AmaWaterways, by a hair. Best value, Viking, especially if you need flights. Best shore excursions, Avalon Active & Discovery itineraries. Best drink package, Viking. Best food, tie, Ama and Avalon. Best past passenger perks, Viking. Best entertainment, probably on shore.

Uniworld was a perfectly fine river cruise, but we found them to be terribly overrated compared to other lines. That said, we would still recommend any river cruise line to folks who would be the right fit. We’ve never had a bad river cruise and can’t wait for our next one! Love

That's amazing!! I can't wait to hear what you think of it (even though that's so long from now!) haha

Our first Riverboat cruise is scheduled for April 2021. It is none of the ones listed because it is in the US. We are taking the American Song Riverboat on the Columbia & Snake rivers following Lewis & Clark's expedition.
