WHEN YOU DON'T PAY ATTENTION TO CRUISE PRICES......welllllll....YOU BETTER!!!

We're booked on 4 more for 2022...and we noticed with all the new ships coming in, and port reassignments, we figured we'd make ourselves crazier and start looking at 2023, especially since one of the ships we've come to like (CCL VISTA) is moving out of Galveston and heading elsewhere. The "last cruise" is the end of OCT 2023. So, we decided to book it, even tho there's going to be others on other lines as well, both in 2022 and 2023. Wanted that same spectacular balcony we just had, and WILL have a few more times in 22...Prices, NOT, repeat NOT including port charges, gratuities or taxes, or previous cruise credits, etc...apples to apples (FOR THE SAME CABIN) were, in date order, 2985 (just got off her), 2748, 2608, and get this....Oct/23...$3940!!!!!! So we moved to almost the exact center of the aft HAVANA CABINS...same view, just no wrap.....over $1000 LESS!!!

So if the mood strikes you to book something...don't dawdle...it'll only cost more..Those cruiselines have BIIIIIIIG debts to pay!!!!

I use an Online TA, and call immediately when I get the price drop notifications from Cruiseline.com Big Smile

That's why we've been booking early. Vacations To Go offers extended holds on cabins and when we found our EXACT SAME CABIN AND ITINERARY from our November cruise AT A LOWER PRICE in April, we decided to literally shift our reservation over and get an extra day on our April cruise (the itineraries were identical apart from one extra day being offered in April) for almost half the cost of the November one.

I know, I'm A stock holder. No dividend, just cruise $

Those days are ending my friend...in order to stay afloat, the lines had to borrow so much money it could fund the FED for a few weeks...and that debt needs to be serviced...compound that with commitments for ships under construction as we type. If bookings fall short, folks who are still willing to cruise will be making up the difference. Which is why as of this moment, we're up to 7 booked just into 2023. Costs very little to book em, deposit-wise. Get the ship/cabin/dates you want, then cross any body parts that are crossable that .....ahem..."other things" don't get in the way...........

Maybe if bookings fall short of company expecting, prices will adjust.Big Smile

Yep going up. Need check for best option.

I'm frightened to think of how much my Alaska Cruise in 2024 is going to cost me once the schedule is released...

Sad ... but not unexpected

Yep, I noticed one in 2024 costing considerably more than expected!Surprised
