We are going to be in Great Stirrup Cay this month during one of the Norwegian Encore inaugural cruises and I was wondering what's on the island! I know it's primarily a beach day for most people and that is also likely how I will spend it, but I was curious what other amenities/activities there are to do there.
I've only been to one cruise line private island before (CocoCay before the Perfect Day additions) and I'm excited to see NCL's!
How much do the ziplines cost? Is it just one line or a series?
Update: it was beautiful and so much fun! We did a jet skiing tour which was awesome with great guides. You go super fast if you want, so it's not like a slow boring tour. Then we just spent the rest of the day on the beach! I'm surprised at how many beaches the island has and how much room there is for everyone. The zip line was up and running but we didn't do it. Also the far beach for those with big fancy cabanas is gorgeous. We couldn't actually spend time there but we got on the island early enough to go look around and take pictures. I'll be posting my review of the cruise today or tomorrow!

Excellent Sarah. Glad you enjoyed it. It is a nice place and .... the drink package works on the island so makes for a very pleasant and relaxing beach day

Never been to this private island, but that's the plan for when I go to Great Stirrup Cay next year!
Beach and relax. I was there mid October and just enjoyed the beach.
When last there they were constructing a tower which i believe is for zip lines but it was not complete then ... but that was 2 years ago. They have a number of things like scuba and kite riding and sail surfing .. the usual beach stuff. One thing we enjoyed was as you first get off the ship on the right side is a little village set up like the straw market with a number of vendors selling various things. Other than walking through there we just enjoyed the lunch there and an afternoon of beach and drinks.
