What is new in river cruising?

Over the past recent years, river cruising has increased in popularity. On Monday, Crystal Cruises announced that it will increase its entry into the River Cruising market with four newly built boats. They will sail the European Rivers. A fifth boat will be an existing river boat, The Mozart, revamped and renamed, The Crystal Mozart. It will enter service on July 13, 2016 cruising the Danube River. The Crystal river boats will carry between 84-160 passengers. Crystal fans should enjoy the new offerings. Anyone interested?

Is anyone planning on booking a river cruise this year or next? If so, which river boat company will you use and which river will you travel?

Yeah, I really feel sorry for you because you can only afford ocean cruises. If I had to pick between an ocean cruise or a River cruise, I'd pick the ocean cruise. There is more to see and do and more activity at night.

I think that I would very much enjoy a river cruise, however the price is too steep for me.

I guess I am resigned to simply cruise the open waterLove

I am curious to know if their river boats will be as formal as their ocean cruises are. We have friends who dress up every night on Crystal and they enjoy doing so. That is not for me.
