A short question: can u buy water at port Canaveral and carry onto the ship? If so, where and how much does it cost.

Thanks for your time.

We do the same and often add ice from the Lido prior to getting off the ship to join our excursions.

We have purchased water bottles to have in our room and to take on excursions, but have found we like the water on the Lido just as much. This trip we will take a refillable bottle each to use which is good for us and the environment.

For Royal you can bring 12 cans, bottle, tetra pak, or pouches not exceeding 18 oz each total of no-alcoholic beverages per cabin as a carry-on. Additionally 2x 750ml bottles of wine are allowed per cabin, again must be carried on, corkage fee applies if consumed in any on board restaurant or lounge. Pre-cruise you can order their Evian Water Package -12 x1 liter Bottles = $39.00 USD or 24 x1 liter Bottles = $69.00 USD. Also as part other their Refreshment (non-alcoholic) and Deluxe (alcoholic) beverage packages bottled and mineral water is included at unlimited amounts.

For Norwegian absolutely no non alcoholic beverages are allowed to be boarded with. But NCL does allow an unlimited number of wine bottles as carry-on, as long as you pay their $15/ bottle corkage fee, which is assessed while you are in the check-in terminal. Water (1-liter bottles) packages are available to pre-cruise order at 6-pack = $14.95, 12-pack = $27.95, and 24-pack = $44.95. They have recently changed their beverage programs and I'm not sure which one if any currently includes bottled water.

Nope, pre-order Carnival online at $4.50 for 12 bottles at 18% or wait until you board and purchase in the Fun Shops. Canned water is allowed , LeCroix, ect. On Carnival you can bring (1) 12 pack of canned drinks per person....hope this helps bon voyage!

On Princess-----For pre-cruise orders only you can order a 12 bottle (500 ml) case for $6.90. If you don't preorder through your Cruise Personalizer or find that you needed more than a case, you can get it from cabin service. Down side to that is it costs $2.00 per bottle. Found that one out the hard way.

If you are sailing on Carnival, then no, you can not bring bottled anything on board. Princess does allow unlimited bottled water and soda to be brought on board. I am not sure about the other lines.

Princess and Carnival allow you to buy 12 half liter bottles for about $4 pre cruise. They will be delivered to your cabin.

If you do plan on carrying them on, there are plenty of grocery stores nearby, but not within walking distance. The price is about the same as your local grocery.
