Visa Required for Turkey visit?

We are planning a Mediterranean Cruise and will be in Turkey for a day. Some web sites say we need an eVisa from Turkey. Other sites say that cruisers staying less than 72 hours don't require a visa. The cruise line representatives say yes, or no, just depending upon who you get on the phone. The official Turkish web site seems to say we don't need a full e-visa but we do need something. Has anyone gone through this before and what is the proper procedure?

I would like to convey my immense gratitude for this exceptional article, as it has provided valuable insights and knowledge on the topic. Your effort in enriching my understanding is deeply appreciated, and I express my heartfelt thanks for this valuable contribution. India e Visa is an online travel authorization that permits foreign nationals to visit India for tourism, business, medical, or other purposes for up to 60 days. The e-Visa application process is simple and can be completed online. Applicants must provide personal and travel information, including passport details and a recent photograph.

We got one anyways. No one asked to see it. It seems to be one of those “better safe than sorry” items. We were on a ship sponsored excursion so felt like no one was going to harass us, but don’t know about exploring on your own.

Why are you being visited by a turkey ?Yummy
