Would believe its what you already paid (sunk cost) moved to a future date (less any change fees).

I had to pay a deposit when i used mine. When using FCC with Carnival it gets processed through another department, and the deposit held my reservation. I lucked out and only had to pay $100.00 for my deposit so I didn't mind.
