Texas Tax on Alcohol

I know there is a limit of how much alcohol you can bring into the state of Texas before you have to pay taxes. Does anybody know what the limit is and how much the taxes are.....

Thanks!

I don't know about the state, but for Customs you are permitted two bottles per person of age. After the two bottles you have to pay tax.

Oh my! That seems unfair! At least it isn't too expensive.

Did you know that in most ports , I know for sure in California , when you order a drink on the ship in port they charge a extra tax
