Sneaking Drinks from the Ship

Hi everyone,

I'm wondering if it's possible to bring drinks with me from the ship to different ports of call, perhaps using an insulated bottle?

I once tried to sneak six 'Sex on the Beach' drinks off the ship. I was successful.

Successful sneaking the drinks off. I fell asleep before anything happened. Old age is not fun.

But the nap was memorable !!!!Wink

Are you talking about stops other than private islands? I've never seen it happen. On some private islands, the beverage package works on the private island.

Great idea.....you'd probably get away with it since I don't remember anybody checking anything getting OFF..some folks have backpacks with water bottles hanging off em..who knows whats in em anyway??.and alot of folks are half in the bag by the time they try to get back on...on the other hand, explaining it to the local Policia might take a bit of doing...they carry machine guns....use dogs, etc etc....more entertainment on shore. Besides...spend skeighty-eight thousand bucks for a cruise and try to get even by not buying booze onshore?? Nah....can't do that.....Bet lots of folks are "sneaking" booze off the ship....course, you'd have to make a kind of project out of it to get enough to last....don't believe there'd many bartenders on board who would fill a water bottle with vodka say...

It's called ... I have a drink package and do not want to buy drinks on shore. Probably doable as the ships do check for bringing things on board but rarely check for getting off. So .. at 9 in the morning you go to a series of bars and gather a number of drinks and pour into a container to take for the day in port ... different ... and possibly doable ... but is it really worth the aggravation ??

If you are asking is it possible? Most cruise lines rarely check that but do check if you have produce. If your drink smells like fruit, it could be detected. Not sure why you want to do this, however it might be illegal in some ports.

So, you want to smuggle booze OFF the ship ? There’s a new one.
You can bring water off the ship.
