Shipmate is the app connected with Cruiseline. It is nice for getting private messages, seeing a lot of pictures that people post (if you like that sort of thing... I do). It is very handy when out and about. It will also have the ship's layout and such. I'm sure others will give you better information about it. I really like having it. You can get everything you get on Cruiseline, just a bit slower (for me anyway) and of course in "tiny" print on your phone.

The Carnival app is good for the ship you are on at the time, read the fun times & check what's happening, you can book shore tours, check your account, see deck plans and for $5/person have chat with friends on the ship. The last one is handy if you need to leave a message about meeting somewhere and keeping in touch with your "group". We liked having it on the last cruise and will be using it again on the upcoming one.

Not a problem. Tell me more about the shipmate app. I've heard of it but don't know anything about it. We downloaded the carnival app.

Thanks Pete! Do you have a cabin booked on the Mardi Gras yet? We set sail on the Glory the same day you are on the Vista. Are you on Shipmate? I like the message feature a lot.

Aunt Pinkie, I miss the old forum. We leave on Carnival Visa next Saturday with a Havana Aft cabin. Hope all is well in both this and the 16th century.
