Self disembark on Carnival Cruise

I was wondering if we can still use carnival cruise line transportation back to LAX even if we self disembark. If not does anyone have any suggestions on the transportation options at Long beach port. Thank you in advance.

You may use Van, Taxi, Limo or City bus though city bus would take about 5 hr. Shuttle Van is Cheapest /person and you might share. We always stay a day in whatever city we Dock in, to avoid the mad rush at the airports. If it's warm, we go on a fishing trip. 2 years ago in Ft Lauderdale we were on a boat and someone hooked a Sailfish 3 inches short of a world record. We caught several fish and brought them home and smoked them over Fruit wood and they were amazing.

I always self-disembark, and have used both cruise line and other ground transportation out of Long beach port as recently as last September without issue.

I always fly out of Long beach airport though, because I love that tiny airport, and dislike the mad rush of LAX, so I cannot offer advice on price or travel time from LAX.

Good Cruising!

Friends of ours used the Carnival transportation back to the airport and they did self debarkation, but that was a couple of years ago.

It was available in January from Ft. Lauderdale for self assist debarkation, so I don't see why it wouldn't still be so for Long Beach.
