Sailing alone - Expensive, virtually impossible!

Apart from CMV's Columbus, hardly anyone offers single cabins, and they sell out fast anyway. I just want to sail from Australia to the UK either late 2020 or early 2021 but I'll have to pay double for the privilege.

I'm even looking at container ships as an alternative, and they are almost as expensive.

Unless you can find a ship that has single cabin rooms available you will have to pay extra. If your schedule is flexible maybe wait and look for last minute deals.

Since when ? We have friends that sail together all the time

Cruise companies don't allow sharing anymore between two people who aren't family or who aren't couples.

It's also an expensive route. Not a lot of ships doing that route so they can charge what they want. More traveled routes are less

Not an easy task. Have contacted a cruiseline about possible sharing?

Good luck, I hope it works out for you!Happy
