I seriously doubt that the Fed would keep more accurate records than the states. Not saying the states won't muck ot up, but I have far more faith in them than I do the Fed.

Thank you for sharing this here. Been finding information on that for quite a while.

Thats how confusing info gets spread. The REAL ID ACT made them mandatory across the ENTIRE country, by the original date, but it was left up to the states to enforce it. All kinds of exemptions and extensions were granted, and then the pandemic hit. Up until very recently, there was NO plan to extend the deadline nationwide...matter of fact, as recently as last week I saw a PSA (from the geniuses in our states gov't) telling folks to get it or else...they glide over the fact that there are other forms of ID which would be acceptable on airlines or Fed Buildings...NOW, the "etched in stone" deadline has been pushed back to May 2023....doesn't seem to affect renewals or other biz at the good ol DMV...just this, where you have to have all kinds of proof that you're you...

And, as has been discussed here, there not only are no plans to put covid info ANYWHERE...and if there ever will be, the FED (courtesy the latest group of bus drivers) has already said repeatedly they will have no role in it...There is NO mechanism for transferring that data to the states, or DMV, or anywhere else...theres a good argument for saying that kind of national database doesn't even exist...The states are really supposed to be keeping track of their end of it..(actual arms, which vaccine, etc).which begs the question of just how accurate these "counts" we see daily really are...which is another discussion entirely, since all these shots are free.......free eh??? I'd love to see the paper trail on THAT process,,,,,,

NH is making them mandatory.

I wonder if information about the COVID shots and weather or not you received them will be included?

Colorado has that in our DL. Thank goodness, because I have to renew everything this year as it is. We already did our "Known Traveler", but I get to do everything else as well (except passport).Big Smile
