I think it would be great even after COVID. Kids can't sit through a long Muster Drill (even my 8 year old niece had trouble sitting through it back in Feb.) so hopefully the app will help save time for those families.

I can see the having to be checked off at your physical station so you know where your station is. On the app would be great because you could do it the night before and just go get checked off after you get on the ship.

Thats because they CANNOT figure any other way to do it in the age of COVID...yes its a PITA...but if you read the comments that go with the video, and remember the chaos that occurs during a real emergency (yes they happen), you probably need a REAL muster drill....but how??? I guess the USCG is on board with this?? what I want to know is how folks will get around using those good ol ships elevators ANYTIME...
