We HAVE touched on this b4, but its been sooooo long since we've been down there....has construction started on the new terminal? or the parking facility the port is obligated to build? I read where its going to be on 10+ acres east of the terminals there now. We'll be there in a couple of weeks, and have enough time the day b4 boarding to go explore a bit, but inquiring minds etc.....

Galveston is much more convenient for us as it just a few hour drive.

RCL will being hosting an Oasis class ship, Allure, in Nov '22.

They are starting to build it, you can see the huge area as ship lives Galveston. Right now it is a huge cleared plot of land, the hospital staff across from it uses it as a parking lot. 2 warehouses are still there, but dont know if they are going to be used or not. Galveston is starting to widen roads for more traffic.
