MISSING OR DELAYED POSTS

Noticed the usual missing or delayed post glitch is happening again...you get the notification email of a post, but the post isn't there...or it shows up hours later...sometime 8-10 hours later...sometimes never....I sent the mods an email re this...(use the "contact us" link at the bottom)...they're pretty responsive, unlike a few other blogs where the whole thing can go down or not work at all and no one notices or cares on the other end...groups in YAHOO are notorious for it....

If it happens, take a minute and send em an email....its only cyber, stuff happens.....

MICHELLE just answered....added the last few comments to the ticket....I wish the other places I post were as responsive!!! Mostly they just don't care if theres a glitch....

Thats what just happened when CQNH posted about her DAD finally getting his shot in our thread bout the shots....got the notification, but he post wasnt there...I responded that it wasn't there etc and she might want to repost it...Apparently the action of me doing that caused her post to appear!!! Fortunately i was able to edit MY post accordingly....Im going to tell them to keep an eye on this thread...any of y'all have problems, might as well stick em here....

Thanks all for the added info. I've added it to the ticket for the dev team. I'll let you know what we discover. As always, Yankee47 thanks for letting us know. We want all of you to enjoy our site with as little glitches as possible. Have a great weekend all and I hope to be sailing with you soon! (or at least reading about your trips and admiring your photos! )

I have found it usually happens with the first reply on the next page of a post, but only when its the only reply that would appear (ex Post #11 would be on page 2, but page 2 doesnt appear until Reply 12 is posted)

Lets see if their "development team" can fix it.....seems to come and go....

Hey OGW....All this time...just noticed...F5 on my PC KB is a blank...and does nothing when I press it...I can do a "refresh" by clicking on the little circular arrow up top, or "control r".....next time this stuff happens, I'll try it anyway...just for fun....

Thanks, but no.....my security suites run every day, 2x each, automatically...and they clear cache. already got a reply from MICHELLE.......besides, i'm in several old blogs...this is the only one where this happens....no biggie....
