There is a beach within walking distance of the terminal.  It is called Junkanoo Beach.  If you want a chair and umbrella, they have them for rent.  There is also food for sale nearby.  Anyone in town can direct you.  There are signs directing you.  You just walk along Bay Street to the end.

It was not a great beach but it was fairly c lose to the ship. We had no trouble there. We only stayed a half a day and received a half day's price for rental.

We actually stopped at that beach on our tour. It was small and deserted and only a stones throw from the stands where they were selling food. I did stand on some rocks near a pipe that I was not sure if it was sewage or not. I assume it was at one point. We were advised not to buy from the locals as they are known to steal, mug, but have not hurt anyone. Not sure how accurate that was, but that was from the cruise staff.
