It’s a GREAT Week to Cruise

Super Bowl, Mardi Gras, and Valentines Day. A fun week to be cruising.

That's mighty big of ya. I'm sure the two of you had a pleasant conversation (that is, after she rolled her eyes and thought "oh great, another cranky old grandpa I'll have to listen to about how our ships' suck"). I'm sure she checked all the correct boxes on her screen, which were then added to the NCL database for further "study". However, you and I both know that nothing meaningful will be done until one certain thing happens. And that is if bookings start to decline. Still, I'm sure you charmed the bejeebers out of her.

Happy V.D. everyone! I've got packing to do. See ya.

Hersey, PA?

My wife only likes European chocolate, so the third stop would have to be Zurich. As long as we're musing, we might as well get a transatlantic in there. We might have to adjust your itinerary though, and leave NOLA a bit earlier in order to make it by VD. We'd also need to boost the HP of those ships engines.

Start building the canals!

Being already on a cruise for these advents could be an exciting adventure.Big Smile

Cruised out of NO and Galveston during "events".....not a good plan...nothing "slight" about the logistics.....the only one that can "absorb" the traffic, (ground and air) and the weirdos (which are usually locals) is VEGAS, been there done that....and still doing it....spoke to our NCL PCP the other day, she wanted to know how our last one on PRIMA went...so I told her...good thing I have her personal cell...so she could talk "freely"...I told her I know she doesn't build em or run em, and is in no way responsible for what happens or doesn't happen onboard...but she admitted she's heard things about that ship "before"...claims she'll be on it in a few months herself...I laffed, told her if I cruised for nothing or a deep discount, I would be just a tad more forgiving....

Just imagine how much better if your ports were: Las Vegas on Sunday (with an overnight - leave on Monday morning), New Orleans on Tuesday, and Hersey, PA on Wednesday. Logistics might be a slight issue, but hey, that's what the Captain gets paid for. Beam me up, Scotty !!
