Is this possible?

Hi.
We’re planning a back to back cruise on the Symphony of the Seas which will mean we’ll be stopping twice at Coco Cay.
Does anyone know if it’s possible to visit somewhere else in the Bahamas for one of those days? Logistically it’s probably not possible but thought I’d ask anyway.
Many thanks.

These are great advice given by the community.

Not sure you can divert to a different island but honestly "Cocoa Cay" has so much to explore, you can't really do it all in a day.

Been reading about it. Don't think you can do a diversion, but lots to do. If you're with a group, it can make sense to rent a cabana - pricey, but it includes admission to the premium water park for up to 8. So could be a decent deal. We're supposed to visit in Nov 2021, an might spring for the Club. If you buy in early, prices are less.

Symphony of the Seas is a floating resort unto itself

No matter the ship. Staying aboard during a port day has quite a few benefits. Especially after lobster night. The lunch buffet has all the tails you care to enjoy (just leave some for me, please)

Great advice.

I agree with OldGreyWolf.. I'm sure it would be next to impossible to get Royal to go along with anything like that. Since you're sailing such a large ship (which I have sailed and adore), I would go with what OldGreyWolf is saying and enjoy the ship one of the days if you don't feel the need to be on CocoCay for both days. The ship is absolutely massive and being able to enjoy it more empty would be really nice.

Given enough time, money, and effort anything is possible. But in this case I am not sure how you would swing that one or even if the cruise line would be willing to go along with it as the only way you could make this happen would be to have a private water taxi pick you up and drop you off at the island and as this is a private island that would require written permission.

Take one of the days and enjoy the empty ship and all of the facilities. Many ships offer lower price specials on things like spa on port days.
