Is August a good time to travel through the Eastern Mediterranean?

Thanks. Happy

Remember they are going to Europe not the Caribbean and I don't believe there is a hurricane problem in the Adriatic and Eastern Med.

The best cruise I have ever been on was in the Adriatic going to Croatia and Greece. If you go in August it will be really hot and there will be more kids on your cruise. Personally I would go in September, cheaper probably and nicer weather.

We had a late August cruise once, and all ports had to be diverted due to a hurricane. Try staying away from late August to October .

Still on the warm side. Sept a little better. Also their schools are off pretty much the same time as US, so later you avoid their local tourism also.

I guess it depends on your needs and weather. September, for example is the start of hurricane season here on the East Coast, so that may not be a good time to travel if weather is a concern.

I had a choice of switching my cruise aboard RSS Mariner to RSS Explorer to May or August 2022. I chose August because it was further out.

Thanks!

What AlanandGlory said. Also it's hurricane season which is why we stay away from travelling during that time.

Depends on what you mean by "good." I prefer not to travel from mid June through September. At that time, kids are out of school so every popular tourist destination is more crowded and prices are higher. If you have kids in school, then August would be a good time. The weather may be overly hot, it all depends on your needs and preferences.
