Getting items back that were left in your cabin.

Hello we have been on many cruises (going on + 90). this cruise on Carnival Miracle she left a necklace in our cabin. I tried to call but I was referred to the web site to post cruise problems. I filled out the form and it said I would get a response up to 45 days. My wife got a response in less than 2 weeks stating they found the necklace and we had to fill out the form and pay the shipping. We received the necklace within four days!

Just do not give up it is worth a try to get it back.

Thank you, Carnival.

They sure do..not sure exactly how the vetting/recruitment process works, considering where the stewards come from, but we're up to around 35 cruises and I can only vaguely remember ONE where the steward was, shall we say, less than enthusiastic, or competent...we have a "process" for tipping stewards...supercedes even bartenders (((gasp)))....hehehehehe

you know these cruise lines find amazing people to be stewards. this makes me happy to hear that they want you to have your personal items that would easily overlooked. thanks for sharing and keep rewarding these hard workers.

When i read the title of your post I immediately thought you were looking for advice as to how to get it back...and thought, "don't be rediculous!, its impossible!" THEN, I read it..now THAT'S absolutely amazing. I would have bet it was gone...and frankly, I wouldn't have known where to even start the process....good for you! well done!....

What a wonderful outcome. So happy for you! Thanks for sharing!Love
