Excellent question ableman.

Now THATS an interesting question! Mebbe it depends on the bean counters attitude.

So I wonder if that surcharge would be implemented on ALL cruise fares, even the ones on the newest ships (Mardi Gras, Celebration, and soon Jubilee). Those ships are powered by more economical LNG. Would the passengers on those ships be sharing the pain with the passengers on the older petroleum fueled ships?

I guess I did. Doesn't surprise me, the way gas prices are.

I guess you missed/avoided it...scan down to the highlighted part...aaah memories!!!

Fuel surcharges have been in the contract, at least for NCL, at least since my first cruise in 2005, but I haven't heard of them ever actually being charged.

It isn't the first time and I'm sure it won't be the last....but that doesn't mean I like it.Angry
