First time sailing out of New Orleans

First time sailing out of New Orleans. How far is port from airport and which is best taxi or cruuse shuttle. Any other tips are appreciated. Thanks

Just returned from this port. We flew in the day before and the cab ride from the airport was about $40 (including tip) and the cab to the port from our hotel was $20 (including tip). We took the Carnival shuttle to the airport after the the cruise at $23/person. Hope this helps.

I cruised out of NOLA one time , I stayed downtown and walked to the ship , great place to cruise out of
