First time on NCL

So I just booked my first cruise on NCL...19th overall. What can I expect from this line?

Also, my niece is traveling with us as her first cruise...how is the cruise line for 7 year olds (she'll be almost 8 when we sail)?

We have 4 more booked for NCL over the next 2 years more or less, so the price is locked and was reasonable when we did it.. But we are actively researching others because of the price differential. There is at least one other recent thread re all this, and lots of .02's.

Good to know.

Not likely in the near future as they have priced themselves quite a bit higher than RCL for the same itineraries. Having sailed both lines right now my leanings are more to RCL because of this.

Never sailed NCL but maybe one of these days if the price is right.

NCL is very relaxed. Not sure what you are used to but I love the dining arrangements or to be more accurate the lack of.

NCL has a great kids club with age divisions so the programs are geared specifically to each group. She will love it. My daughter was 12 when we took her on her first cruise on NCL and she would disappear at 10 am to the kids club and I would have to go drag her away at 8 or 10 in the evening on sea days.

Cheers,
