First Time Luxury Cruiser

Hello,

This will be my first full inclusive luxury cruise with Regent Seven Seas. I'm doing a 10 day through the Eastern Med aboard the RSS Explorer.

Their brochures seems to show stuffy people. I know they are just models, but still...

So, I guess I really want to know is what is it really like aboard a luxury ship.

I notice that there are not many luxury cruisers on these site.

Thanks.

This cruise was cancelled, and rebooked for December 2022 on RSS Splendor going to the Eastern Caribbean instead. With the state of international travel I decided to keep it local.

I'm also doing a Transatlantic (Barcelona to Miami) on the same ship in November 2023.

I'll definitely be posting pictures and links to my movies via YouTube! Big Smile

Yes, same company (Norwegian) just like Celebrity Equinox and Infinity are under the Royal Caribbean umbrella. Holland America, Princess, Cunard, etc., etc., are all under the Carnival Corp. umbrella.

Have a great cruise, welcome to the gang.

Yes it does!!! I really can't wait to go onboard with them. I hope 2023 will come faster!!

That storyline looks pretty awesome

Yes they are. They have NCL, Regent Seven Seas, and Ocenania.

I believe they are!

Regent Seven Seas is owned by Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd.

Are the same ones who run the Norwegian Cruise ships Breakaway, Epic, Dawn, etc?

I've only sailed with Celebrity aboard Equinox and Infinty.

Thanks! I have seen most of, if not nearly all of those videos. But, I wanted to hear from anyone on this site. Most of those video are just tours, not really cruiser experience videos. The one "Day in the Life" video is just a promo video. 🙄

Thanks for replying!Big Smile

I would see what the parent companies are of some of the luxury cruises and see if I've been on any of their cruises. Those would give you a better idea of what to expect on that cruise line.
