changing terminals in Port Everglades

We are cruising on Celebrity Edge in December and then on to Allure of the seas immediately afterwards. Has anyone changed terminals in Port Everglades, and if so what is the best way to do it. I believe Edge will be using Terminal 25 and Allure Terminal 18.

Advice would be much appreciated.

First of all, lucky you for having 2 cruises back to back! Second, I was just in Miami on "Adventure Of The Seas" last week. Although I didn't get off the ship (been to Miami many times), the terminal that I saw looked pretty expansive. Try and get a cab or shuttle if you can.

I wouldnt try the hike from one to the other. Uber/Lyft/Taxi is your best bet.

That's clearly the way to go...grab your bags (or walk off) and get a cab, theyre all over every port terminal we've ever been at, no hassles.....they're flat rated...just be sure you ask the cabbie if he knows his way around the port first...the place is a zoo...we had one in N.O. from the HI Superdome to the port is 10-12 min, but he took ONE wrong turn at the entry point and missed the spot where the baggage is collected. told him forget it, we'll walk, it was less than 200ft but he couldn't get there. no tip for him, and thats flat rated too. he knew his way around alright, but when you get off city streets into an industrial/port area, things can get weird.

Last spring we cruised on RCCL , then Carnival and took a taxi that was already onsite, from one terminal to the other. I think it was $15 for the 2 of us, and only took about 5 min.

Ditto

An Uber/Lyft would likely be your best bet. I don't think there's an inter-terminal shuttle or anything.
