CCL website is down this am

I think CCL Corp had an issue as around the same time Yankee47 had issue w/Carnival site, I was having issues accessing bookings on HAL.

My profile was blank (no cruise history, no upcoming bookings, Nada other than my name and Mariner number) and I couldn't book excursions or print luggage tags.

Once it came back up and my profile was restored, my name was displaying differently and cruise rates displayed at higher rates than prior to the crash. Calls to them got my name fixed, but the casino rate code is still gone.

WELL!!! for no particular reason, in the middle of my college hoops afternoon, I was fooling around and googled "carnival john heald IT problems"...or some such combination..one of the search answers involved FACEBOOK...(I am not now and never was a member..my apologies to the McCarthy hearings)) but there he was, all kinds of posts...INCLUDING the one where he acknowledged the IT problems and its being worked on.....now I do know that some business are on FACEBOOK, abd you can access their data without being a member..never occurred to me you could do it to people too..I guess thats what PUBLIC means..if not correct me..but...FWIW, the whole thing made me smile...not bad considering the day started in less than a stellar mood....

Just wanted to let you (and any anybody else who got that OOPS message)...the thing seems to be working now...went out of my way to get to the log in page 4 different ways,and on two different devices.. including an OLD desktop icon, been there a looong time...everything works!!! thanks AUNTIE!!!!! take the rest of the weekend off!!!

Beats me...we're getting close, so I decided to fool around...no real reason..got an email the other day says you can print luggage tags prior to actual edocs availability date.....dont know if this is something new or I just saw it..so I printed them, used the email as a link to log in. ...no problem...now, can't get in, desktop icon no good either.....but if I start from scratch on their homepage, click login, it works....either paranoid or anal, I'm gonna watch some college hoops, nuff of this...

Ouch .. either hacked or human error ... doo doo happens.

Hope they get it back up.

Wonder if the same is ongoing at the sister sights.
