CAUTION!! UNANNOUNCED CABIN CHANGES!

Interesting thing happened...our latest for the end of NOV was cancelled by NCL...the bookkeeping hasn't caught up to it yet, and we didn't expect it to, for at least another few days...and frankly, given we have several more with them, including a new one for 2023, we expect it to be screwed up and have to call our PCC to unscrew it. No biggie. HOWEVER, they haven't deleted the one they cancelled, and at the moment their computer says its "on hold". Fine...glancing at it, we noticed THEY changed the cabin number we had selected quite awhile ago. Same class, different deck, actually to a cabin we never would have picked because of the location. Now, you say, why should we care...its a cancelled cruise...

Being suspicious, the thought occurs...just HOW do they intend to accomplished reduced passenger capacity, or social distancing,...the devil is in the details...well one way is to decide what decks/cabins to use, or how much. All I can say is keep an eye on your cabin assignments from here on out...we discovered it completely by accident...

Thanks for the heads up! We will closely monitor for all of our upcoming bookings!

Thanks for the info, I hadn't even thought about keeping an eye on my cabin assignments. I have four cruises booked, this will be something I check on from time to time. I wonder why they feel the need to be so sneaky about it, just tell us for social distancing reasons our cabin assignment has been changed. Or better give us the option to select a new cabin.

I am always paranoid that will happen, even prior to the pandemic. Technical glitches, human errors etc do happen from time to time. So while I am obsessing over the trip I check my info quite often.. I've had dining times changed on me as well as how we would like our beds done. That is little stuff, but if I selected something, I selected it. Don't go changing it on me!

They may have a need to move people about but they need to learn to communicate.

I am not happy about the no notice part! Something to keep a close eye on, for sure!Surprised
