Carnival email

Anyone else get the email about Carnival cruises in the months of September and October? We are booked on the Vista out of Galveston on the 9th of October. In the email, our departure port/ship/date has no information. What gives?

CCL has a magnificent way of muddying the waters, sometimes with confusing information, especially lately. You know why.. We can count on duplicate emails with differing data. Gotten so we glance at them to make sure they haven't cancelled or some such, but then we ignore em. I checked their website, and our actual account and that cruise is still there, looks fine...(BTW, we're on VISTA 2x, NOV 2021 and Feb 2022... so I was curious. I know how disturbing this can be, so I strongly suggest you CALL THEM...even if you use a TA, call CCL< and satisfy yourself...

We have had any recent emails. We sail on the Horizon October 30th. We will keep our eyes pealed and let you know if we do. Thanks for the heads up.

We know this email is lengthy, but there is important information we need to share, and there will continue to be additional information coming throughout the process leading up to your cruise. It is important that you carefully review all communications, act promptly to all requests, most especially the vaccine attestation which must be completed by all guests, and stay informed by reviewing our Have Fun. Be Safe. page on

I think you're misreading their email...which is typical for the way they present some things...did you call them and solve the mystery?

Why did you repost the question? did you ever actually call them and ask???

Yes. Called. After going through all of their options and getting to the "correct department", recording said " The network for the phone number you called is unavailable".......WTF Carnival?
