LOL ... actually it is your basic harvest festival .. much like they have all over EU. Many Canadian Thanksgiving days also coincide with Oktoberfest and other harvest festivals.

Just another xcuse to eat too much, and you don't even have to spend big $$ to do it...on the other hand being at sea for the Holidays does have certain advantages...less arguments heheheheheh (unless you cruise with your relatives......)
