Port Canaveral recently opened a new terminal for larger ships. RCCL is using it now. I am hope that they will home port an Oasis or Quantum-Class ship here. Has anyone heard any buzz about that? The port is planning to build two more large terminals in the near future.

I guess by now you all have heard the news that the Oasis will be home based next winter in Port Canaveral. The new big terminal was completed in 2014 through a partnership with RCCL. Good news for everyone along the Eastern Seaboard who won't have to drive down to Ft Lauderdale or Miami to take a cruise on a big ship.

It's official! Harmony of the Seas (aka Oasis 3) is coming to Fort Lauderdale/Port Everglades and Oasis of the Seas is bound for Port Canaveral in late 2016!

I know that RCCL rarely lets out any news about news until all their ducks are in a row. When I hear anything I'll be sure to mention it here.
