I’m going on Allure of the seas in May 2021 and I’ve read it is getting amplified this year. It will have new restaurants, water slides etc. What new updates are you excited about?

Allure of the seas AMPLIFIED - exciting updates

Just read an update - https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com. States Allure is back in a Spanish ship yard but Amplification will be limited to propulsion and navigation systems. No grand new toys being installed at this time.
Budgets are tight and will be for a while. Essential repairs and updates only. Bells and whistles have to wait until things are profitable again. After all, once sailing start back again give or take, half of the ship will be filled with people sailing on credits and not paying cash.

Understood. Although I don’t mind spending money on vacation. ðð¾ I definitely want options. They are adding new amenities that are free.

I believe the amplification of all ships is on hold at this time. Everything delayed.
Yes I called Royal. They posted that they are going to try to get it amplified this year.

Not to be pessimistic but updates to me means more for fee offerings and somewhat less choices of the included with cruise amenities.
Royal Caribbean's actually good about keeping most of their activities/amenities free. Dining is another story haha. But I'm def excited!
