3rd times a charm ... Questions about Anthem Thermal Passes

Question for the frequent passengers of the Anthem or any Quantum class ship... Have any of you used the spa's Relaxation Pass, either cruise long or by the day, to the Thermal Suites?

We can't seem to find much info on what type of amenities are available in this area (blogs only list generalities not specific types). I mean which if any specialized self treatments, like the ones listed below, does the spa on AN ot Seas include:

Thalassotherapy Pool or Heated Mineral Soak

Icy Plunge Pool

Thermal countured loungers

Laconium, Tepidarium, or Finnish Sauna

Ionic, Himalayan Salt area, or Infrared Heat Chamber (dry heat style)

Oriental, Caldarium, or Turkish Steam Bath

Aromatherapy or Herbal Steam Room

Hammam or Rasul Chamber

Rainforest or Sensory Experience Showers (with or without salt or sugar scrubs)

Thanks for the heads up. We are going on the Anthem in August and was curious if the pass was worth it. I'm taking your advice and passing on the pass...lol

Thanks for the update. You are always a wonderful source of information!Big Smile

The third times a charm was a reference to the thread being bounced as a technical glitch.

Actually now that I have sailed the Anthem I have my firsthand tour answer. The thermal suite has...

A co-ed 6 person traditional sauna A co-ed 6 person traditional steam room 4 countured heated loungers and a single rainforest shower

All in a room that would fit inside a Carnival suite, but without any windows.

SO my opinion for the price Royal is asking, even at pre-cruise discount for a thermal area pass, is a total rip off.

BUT if someone needs these areas post workout the the pass was only way to get access to the sauna or steam room. Or if there were gratis use ones they weren't in the changing /locker room like most other cruise lines. If somewhere else I never found them.

I haven’t been on RCCL but the spa pass you are asking about generally includes the thallosotherapy(?) pool, steam baths and saunas on other lines. No touchy-feeleysHappy

Massages are not included.

No response. I guess there are not a lot of spa users.

I can feel your sadness for the lack of a response, so I make this (completely worthless) reply out of compassion only as I have never stepped foot into a Spa on any cruise line.... ever....

I guess I'm like Sheldon Cooper, sounds like a whole lot of needless touching to me.
