Excellent Itinerary
The casino was a disappointment. Toughest payouts we’d ever seen on 18 cruises. I really don’t mind losing, but do like a win every now and then. These slots just took your money with little in return. Got to the point where it just was not even fun, so quit going and found other things to do.
January 2019 - 7 Night Western Caribbean (Tampa Roundtrip) Cruise on Carnival Miracle
Our 17th cruise with Carnival and probably one of the worst cruises we’ve experienced. Not sure how this ship has received over a four star rating. The ship is just outdated and shows it. Carnival needs to put the Miracle in dry dock for a moth or so and give it a much needed miracle facelift. If your into no frills, striped down versions of a ship and you’ve set your expectation level bar to very low, then this cruise is for you. The four ports were ok. Liked Cozumel and Grand Cayman and they are worth a re-visit, but Belize and Roatan, Honduras less so. The crew were not that friendly, the casino and most of the ship was so hot you just sweat. When you order from the casino wait staff it would take on average 30 minutes to get your drink. There is something missing from this ship. Maybe it’s a leadership or management problem. Just not in sync. Wouldn’t recommend this ship.

Carnival Miracle

Cruise tips
Did the rain forest zip line and sky ride. Really fun and a well spent three hours. Would recommend.
We always like visiting St Thomas. Did the Pirate museum and took the gondola up to the top of the mountain. Great views.
Love San Juan. Actually went in early and spent a couple extra days in the city. Just beautiful. Visited two of the old forts and also own town. A great experience and nice walk.
Did the tour of attractions by bus. Was nice, but wouldn’t do it again.
Did the Atlantis submarine which was just great. Would recommend. An awesome experience.
Liked St Kitts. Great shopping and walking around.
